The Elections experience helps you see the races on your ballot and how candidates and measures align with your stated priorities.

Data we collect for Elections.

• Address (to determine your precinct and ballot).
• Answers to issue questions and alignment scores/rationales (to personalize your guide).
• Optional contact details you provide to save or send your guide (email or phone)

How we use this data.

To show your ballot, personalize your private guide, and—only if you choose—to send your guide.

What we don’t do.

We do not use your address, answers, or alignments for advertising, and we do not sell or share them for cross‑context behavioral ads.

Retention.

Address is session‑only unless you save your guide or request reminders; answers/alignments persist until you delete them or until the current election cycle ends; emails/phone numbers used for one‑time sends are retained only as needed to deliver the message.

Content standards.

Candidate and measure pages draw on human‑reviewed sources and locally developed voter guides that our team reviews and edits before publication. Report issues via ”Report an Issue”, accessible in the navigation across all post-onboarding pages.

Elections is a Change.org experience. The Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply in full; this page provides Elections‑specific details.

Availability.

United States only.Age. You must be 13 or older to use Elections.
